While Your Camper is Here

Getting in Touch with my Camper

Campers are not allowed to have cellphones or MP3 players at camp. We believe it takes away from the acquired independence and self-reliance that is so vital to the camper’s experience. We do, however, understand the desire for a parent to have frequent communication with their children while they are away from home.

We suggest parents pack pre-addressed, pre-stamped envelopes as you’ll most likely get more mail that way. Send a cheerful note to your camper, but avoid mentioning how sorely they are missed as that might trigger homesickness. If you don’t hear anything from your camper, don’t worry as that means your camper is busy having fun! But our staff do try to see if the campers will write home at least once. Please mail to:

Camper’s Name
Cabin Name
210 Bog Road
Penacook, NH 03303

Parents can also email their campers at campspaulding@nmymca.org. The emails will be printed out and handed to your camper during the next lunch. Campers will then have the ability to write a note back to you, which we will scan and email back.
