Working at Camp Spaulding is an experience like no other and your camper will be the one to benefit. The Staff at Camp Spaulding is among  the best you will find anywhere as they adhere to a very high standard of quality programming and camp philosophy:

Camp should be fun. Camp should be meaningful. 

Our staff will be there with your camper every step of the way to ensure a summer like no other. If they are having the best day of their summer, or need some support to pick themselves up, the Camp Spaulding staff are trained to handle everything with emotional support and complete professionalism. If there is one thing your camper will talk about after their experience, it will be the staff!

 

Year Round Staff

Since 1999, Josh has not missed a summer at camp. For the past 18 years, Josh as been involved with programs ranging from the rustic outdoors, to the basement of an inner city middle school. With a masters in psychology, Josh loves being a commanding force by being a change agent in a child’s life. He believes that there is no better way to have a positive impact on a camper than to give them the opportunity to go to resident camp.  Every summer is a chance to learn something new, take a chance, and make lifelong friends. He can’t wait for you to be part of it!

For the past 16 years, Karen has organized chaos in the YMCA world! From Swim Teams to Child Care, Camp to After School, there is not a more supportive person to help you with all the behind the scenes work to ensure you and your camper have the best experience possible at camp.

 

Steve Schack – Day Camp Director – sschack@concordymca.org 

Since his first summer camp job in 2012, Steve’s passion for youth programming and summer camp has grown into a career. Working on his master of educational leadership, Steve loves to be a positive and powerful influence for his team of staff, the kids in his programs, and for the greater community. He believes that every kid deserves a fun and safe place to be with strong positive role models that take them seriously. Steve joined the Concord Family YMCA team in August of 2017 and is excited to bring his passion for summer camp to you and your family this summer!
